The mission of Ben Franklin Career Center is to prepare all students for the 21st century, through effective career training to be productive citizens and employees in a complex global economy.

The training center serves adults and secondary students for Kanawha County and West Virginia. The range of training for Local Businesses: Career Preparation Programs Short Term Skill Courses Customized Training for Local Businesses

Ben Franklin Career Center

is operated by the West Virginia Department of Education and the Kanawha County School System. Its programs are accredited by the North Central Association and appropriate national program agencies.

Admission:

Full time secondary students must be enrolled in the eleventh or twelfth grade in Kanawha County Schools. Full time Adult students must have a high school diploma.

Part-time evening classes starting in September are now being offered.
